THE MISSION

Our mission is to provide water rescue and recovery to citizens of Prince George’s County and  as well as neighboring jurisdictions via mutual aid agreements. Prince George’s County Volunteer Fire Departments assist other agencies with special disciplines in the areas of underwater investigation, SCUBA dives, and water craft assistance.

Station 56 is located in the hangar directly behind the main fire department on the road.

Once you arrive a Fort Washington Marina, enter through the fence and take a left as the road turns into a gravel parking lot.  As you wrap around the fence line you will see the deep well on your right and boat lift.  Just beyond that well on the last dock is a two story house boat, that boat is station 57.
